Dave is a resident and well-known historian at Grand Lake, Colorado. His family homesteaded what is now the Grand Lake entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, allowing him the opportunity to have a unique, detailed knowledge that no one else does. His ability to share this knowledge has been well received for over ten years in Rocky Mountain National Park. He uses his local color to shine light on the hidden narratives and insider stories from throughout the area.
Dave is the only Certified Tour Guide in Grand County. He is also a Certified Interpretive Guide. He is able to produce motor coach programs for assorted levels of activity and interests. Specializing in historical programs, he understands his audience and his resources to combine for a memorable experience with each tour. Visitors enjoy his popular walking tour programs in RMNP and often return on their next visit to Rocky.
He has combined his always popular guided interpretive walking tours and his auditorium programs to create a unique motor coach tour experience. Through helping the pax visualize historical people and events, Dave brings them one step closer to experiencing history, which in turn helps them remember history.
