CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY

Things happen. Plans change. We get that. If life throws you a curveball, we won’t throw back a penalty. We will help you reschedule your tour so you can focus on all the good to come, not on feeling let down.

Due to limited seating for all of our tours, we request that you cancel at least 24 hours before a scheduled tour. This gives us the opportunity to fill the tour. You may cancel by phone or online here. If you have to cancel you will receive a 100% refund if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour. Cancellations made within 24 hours before a scheduled tour will incur a 50% fee. No refunds will be given for no-shows.

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, you may transfer your reservation to a friend or relative at the last moment, just please inform us of the change. If you choose to transfer your reservation, each person receiving the transfer must sign an Acknowledgement of Risks form before participating in the tour.

SPECIAL COVID-19 CANCELLATION NOTICE – Your health is our top priority. If you are required to cancel up to the departure time due to COVID-19 you will receive a 100% refund. If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, have had COVID-19-like symptoms, or have known
to have been exposed to COVID-19 please DO NOT participate in a tour.

DELAY POLICY

This is first and foremost for your safety, but we also know you are looking forward to the activity and we do not want to disappoint a single guest by cancelling the tour!

On rare occasions it is necessary to delay the start of a guided tour or temporarily suspend the tour once it has begun. We reserve the right to delay the start of a tour up to 45 minutes due to weather conditions that may affect your safety. Once we have begun the tour and are forced to suspend it due to adverse weather conditions, when possible, we will transport you to a safe location and wait up to 45 minutes for the weather to clear before resuming the tour. If we are unable to resume the tour after 45 minutes, we will either reschedule your tour for a later time or you will receive a 100% refund.

LIVELY TOURS AND TALKS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL A TOUR

In some cases, the Chief Experience Officer may cancel a tour due to extreme weather, earthquake, flooding water or natural disaster that makes it dangerous or impossible to safely undertake the tour. A cancellation may also occur due to road conditions, road hazards, mechanical breakdowns and circumstances beyond our control. The determination of the cancellation is at the discretion of the CEO of Lively Tours and Talks. In the event that the tour is canceled by Lively Tours and Talks, you may choose between rescheduling of the tour, a 100% refund, or a credit towards an alternative tour.

A FINAL NOTE

Please make sure everyone in your party has read and understands the Reservation policy, Cancellation and Refund policy, and Delay policy, as this will keep misunderstandings and cancellation disputes to a minimum. Weather is normally not a cause for cancellation since our tours run rain or shine.
