What to Bring

It’s about the scenery…

It’s about the history…

It’s about the PEOPLE!

WHAT TO BRING  ON YOUR GUIDED TOUR WITH LIVELY TOURS AND TALKS:

YOUR ENTHUSIASM!

We provide:

A fantastic tour
Extra water
Snacks
Binoculars to share
Map of Rocky Mountain National Park

You bring:

Sunglasses
Rain jacket and/or coat
Camera, memory cards & batteries
Sunscreen
Hat
Closed-toe sturdy walking shoes or boots

We suggest:

Daypack
Selfie stick

Walking sticks are not mandatory, but they do offer a level of stability on uneven surfaces such as the trails we will be walking. We recommend you dress in layers to be prepared for the sudden changes in temperature and weather conditions common at high altitude.

You are welcome to bring beverages and snacks, but please leave the alcohol, tobacco and marijuana behind.

As you explore other trails and areas of Rocky Mountain National Park on your own, Lively Tours and Talks recommends you always carry the essentials in your daypack: rain gear, sunglasses, sunscreen, pocket knife, food, water, map and compass, candles, first-aid kit, flashlight or headlamp, matches or other fire starter, extra clothing.
